I took my 56 Chevy to Metro after two years of following the advice of numerous backyard mechanics and car show hotrod experts that didn’t solve the problem. Mike brought a fresh view to the entire system instead of focusing on just the individual elements of clutch and transmission in isolation. He rebuilt the entire clutch linkage assembly which had fatigued over the course of 50+ years. Problem solved. Mike shared his thought process with me throughout and Erik kept me diligently informed. These guys are honest pros and I recommend them highly.

Reliable QualityWe had our 2 cars xmssns rebuilt, fantastic! Then we had complex automotive work done, fantastic. Then we had an intermittent problem with one car, difficult to diagnose. after several days they found it and replaced a defective egr valve.WHA-LA! What a difference. I had a very positive experience with the Metro team a few weeks ago. I brought my car in for a transmission code, and they took great care in diagnosing it. They were very clear that they "did not want to just throw parts at it," and were incredibly decent about crediting me where they could when the first level diagnostics did not expose the issue, requiring a 2nd-tier diagnostic series of testing. They were very tenacious in finding the root cause, and even took measures to correct the grounding issue by rewiring the computer to the transmission, rather than replacing the entire wire harness. Every dollar counts, and I appreciated that they treated my money as if it was their own - very rare with today's businesses. They treat everyone like close family, and do the right thing and fix it right the first time, as their motto states. I have already recommended them to several people I know. One good turn deserves another!


Keep your car longer, go to MetroMetro Transmission not only did a great job on my Nissan Quest's transmission, they also repaired its front left axle.Then, they repaired my Murano's engine mounts after replacing its CVT fluid at half the price of the dealer.I love these guys. They do a lot of general maintenance, if only they could do it all. But, then, I guess, they wouldn't excel as they do with transmissions and drive trains.

Honest and ReliableI was referred to Metro Transmissions by a friend,after I was feeling very skeptical following a visit to a dealership. Metro Transmissions had a completely different diagnosis for my car and the cost to fix it, was half of what I was going to pay at the dealership, for a repair that didn't even need to be done. Metro Transmissions knows what they are doing, they are honest, and reliable, because my car is running GREAT! I will continue taking my car to them for any service. I feel 100% confident that they are honest in their service and fair in cost, and I will not have to have that skeptical feeling that I always got at the dealership.


Fantastic Service!We took our "noisy" 2004 Dodge in for what we thought was a transmission slip. Transmission turned out to be fine. Eric & Mike went OUT OF THERE WAY to find out the "noise" problem. They kept our car for several days and pinpointed exactly what was causing the "noise": belt tensioner and bad mounts. Four other businesses had checked our car for that same "noise", and had no clue. We have had 2 rebuilt transmissions (2 different cars) in the past with Metro and their customer service has always been tops! Thank you Metro for being there, and for caring. Kudos to the rest of the technicians, as well as Brenda and Michelle!The Reyes Family :)
